Contributing to Internal Efforts toward Economic Innovation (A Military Field Study at Taiz City Hospital)

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the reality of the internal work environment in the military hospital - Taiz and the level of administrative creativity among the administrative employees in the hospital and the impact of the internal work environment on administrative creativity among the sample members, as well as the differences in the level of administrative creativity according to a number of demographic variables. In this study, the descriptive analytical approach was used for the purpose of collecting data, defining the study variables and their dimensions, and in the descriptive and inferential analysis of the study results. The researcher also used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. The study sample included (107) administrative employees in the hospital and the results showed the following: -

The reality of the internal work environment in the military hospital - Taiz was generally high.

The level of administrative creativity among the administrative employees in the military hospital - Taiz was high.

There was an impact of the internal work environment on the level of administrative creativity among the sample members.

There was an impact of the variable of years of experience on the level of administrative creativity among the sample members in favor of those with lower and higher experience.

There were no statistically significant differences in the level of administrative creativity among the sample members attributed to the variables (gender, age, specialization, educational qualification).

The most important recommendations:

Work on further clarifying the organizational structure, its layers, and the concept on which it was built for employees.

Work on further clarifying the roles, responsibilities, and competencies of the departments and sections in the hospital.

Conducting training courses to develop the mental skills of employees and how to solve the problems they face at work, such as a course (How to work in a team), (Making decisions to solve problems), and others.
