The Extent of Strategic Management Implementation in Private Hospitals in Taiz Governorate (A Field Study of Al-Safwa and Al-Rawda Hospitals)

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the extent to which strategic management is applied in private hospitals in Taiz city, through a field study on Al-Safwa and Al-Rawda hospitals.

The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical method, using a questionnaire distributed to administrative and technical staff in the selected hospitals.

The results showed that the overall level of strategic management application was moderate, with significant variation among the different stages.

Environmental analysis was the weakest applied stage, while strategy formulation and implementation scored relatively better.

The study recommended enhancing strategic planning tools, training hospital leaders on analytical and evaluative techniques, and adopting flexible strategies adaptable to environmental changes
