Intellectual Capital and Its Relationship with the Level of Quality of Academic Performance in Yemeni Universities from the Perspective of Teaching Staff Members

This study aims to highlight the relationship between the development of intellectual
capital and the level of quality of academic performance in Yemeni universities from the
perspective of teaching staff members. Questionnaire was used to collect data from the study
sample, which consisted of (201) teachers in Yemeni universities. The study revealed that the
average axis of intellectual capital, amounted to (3.14); while the relational capital dimension came
first, with an average of (3.22), followed by the structural capital dimension with an average of
(3.10). The human capital dimension came with an average of (3.09) which revealed that Yemeni
universities are interested in developing human capital to a moderate degree. The average level of
academic performance in Yemeni universities, found to be with a mean of (3.12). In addition, the
study revealed a positive and strong relationship between intellectual capital with its dimensions:
human, structural and relational and the level of academic performance in Yemeni universities.
While there are no statistically significant differences attributed to the variable of gender, faculty
specialization, and degree .
