A strategic environmental analysis of art education programs in Yemeni universities

Abstract

The  current research seeks to identify the strategic environmental 
analysis of art  education programs in Yemeni universities. The 
researcher used the descriptive  approach, and the research 
community consisted of all faculty members in the  art education 
departments in Yemeni universities (Ibb, Dhamar, Hodeidah), and  
the community as a whole (54    إ A male and  a female member. The 
research sample was selected using a comprehensive  inventory 
method, and the sample amounted to (51) male and female 
members. The  research was applied through a questionnaire tool, 
which included (4) areas  :strengths, consisting of (13) items, 
weaknesses, consisting of (21) items   .Opportunities consist of (13) 
items, threats  consist of (21) items, and the number of items for the

tool as a whole was (68  )items. The most prominent results reached

The  degree of reality of the strategic environmental analysis of art 
education  programs in Yemeni universities (Ibb, Dhamar, and 
Hodeidah) came with an arithmetic  mean of (2.33) and a standard 
deviation of (.377), which is a moderate degree. 
The  field of threats received the first rank with an arithmetic mean 
of (2.61) and  a standard deviation of (.160), with a significant 
degree. 
The field  of weaknesses was ranked second, with a mean of (2.33) 
and a standard deviation of (.518), with a moderate degree.
