Abstract

This study aimed to understand students' perspectives on the Instructional Design     course, their degree of assessment of it, and their suggestions for course improvement. A descriptive and analytical approach was used. The study sample consisted of (41) students (6 males and 35 females), representing all respondents from the college's academic departments (Quran Sciences, Arabic Language, and English Language) for the 2023/2024 academic year who returned the distributed questionnaires, the response rate reached (79%) of the community members. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire with (34) Items across four axes: course content, activities, lecturer and teaching methods, and assessment. An open-ended question was also included to gather students' suggestions for improvement. The results indicated that the questionnaire as a whole and each of its four axes received a "High" rating from the students. The overall mean score for the questionnaire was (2.76), with the following mean scores for the axes: lecturer and teaching methods (2.83), activities (2.78), assessment (2.73), and course content (2.69). Students provided suggestions for course improvement, which were included as recommendations for the study.
